Do you dare wear brogues? I've always considered the footwear too masculine for my taste but lately I have been lusting after my own pair.  Maybe my overly girly looks could use a little masculine touch.  I'm ready to take the plunge, now I just need to find the perfect pair.

Beagle Hike

This weekend was gorgeous, so G and I took full advantage and spent most of our time outdoors.  After a bike ride to Capitol Hill (with a little help from Metro) we ended the weekend with a beagle hike.  A local group of beagles and their owners met at Burke Lake for a 5 mile hike.  With or without a group, the boys and I will definately be doing this again.  Bonus: we found out Milo is quite the hunting dog, who knew.

Continuing with how to transition an item to suit the weather, when colored denim first appeared I had flashbacks to my childhood in the 80s complete with teased bangs and scrunchies.  I stated that I would never don a pair of colored denim as an adult; but the more I saw them the more I'm craving a pair, in bright red nonetheless.

Fall Dressing No. 1

The weather over the past week has been finicky, at best.  Dressing on a daily basis as become a challenge, and requiring skills I apparently don't have.  Anxious to go shopping and pickup new fall items I've decided to pick a few fall pieces I hope to add to my closet, items that will be able to pull double duty whether the temps go up or go down.  I will showcase a new item each day this week.
