Did you see the first episode of 'Home by Novogratz' on HGTV?  The style isn't for everyone but I love the mix of colors, textures, and patterns.  The designs are incredibly liveable,plus there are so many tips I can take away and use in my own space.  I can't wait for episode number 2.

Last night I came home from work to find the most recent West Elm catalog in my mailbox.  Normally I breeze through and promptly place in the wastebin.  But yesterday I found myself dog-earing pages and circling item to show G when he gets home.  Typically I'm not a fan on the large national home stores: Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Restoration ; but I'm loving the revamped offerings from West Elm.

My jewelry of choice has always been necklaces.  I feel naked if I leave the house without one; I like the large statement pieces, nothing small and dainty.  My wrists on the other hand are always bare.  I don't even wear a watch (which is a bad thing that I really should rectify in the near future so I will know what time it actually is).  Lately I have been loving the stacking of multiple bracelets, the more mismatched the better.

Over the weekend Milo and one of his sisters were reunited.  They haven't seen each other since that Saturday in November when they were both adopted.  They have grown so much but have so many quirks in common, even if they don't look so much alike anymore.  I'm not sure if they realized who the other one was, but I like to think they did.  Many more reunions are to come in the future.

I'm not that adventurous when it comes to nail polish, I tend to stick to red, pale pink, or nothing at all.  This season I'm excited to expand my nail horizons with neon pink and coral.
